Realiz\u00f3 una tesis doctoral en qu\u00edmica sobre la s\u00edntesis y caracterizaci\u00f3n de nanomateriales supramoleculares para la construcci\u00f3n de interfases bioelectr\u00f3nicas funcionales, dirigida por el Dr. Azzaroni (INIFTA) y el Dr. Battaglini (INQUIMAE). Durante una estancia de investigaci\u00f3n de 12 meses en el Biosensor Technologies Laboratory del Austrian Institute of Technology (Viena), dirigida por el Dr. Knoll, adquiri\u00f3 conocimiento en materiales 2D semiconductores y dispositivos transistores de efecto de campo. En 2020 recibi\u00f3 el premio Luis Federico Leloir a la mejor tesis doctoral en qu\u00edmica, otorgado por la UBA. Luego, realiz\u00f3 un postdoctorado en el desarrollo y la validaci\u00f3n cl\u00ednica de dispositivos bioelectr\u00f3nicos de sensado bajo la co-direcci\u00f3n de la Dra. Arranz (IQUIMEFA) y el Dr. Marmisolle (INIFTA).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';\">Desde 2019, el Dr. Piccinini es l\u00edder cient\u00edfico de Gisens Biotech, una startup que desarrolla y fabrica tecnolog\u00edas de diagn\u00f3stico m\u00e9dico digital, port\u00e1til y para el hogar basadas en sensores bioelectr\u00f3nicos de grafeno. Sus desarrollos tecnol\u00f3gicos han sido reconocido y apoyado por numerosas instituciones nacionales e internacionales: Skydeck Berkeley (Berkeley University), CDL (Univerisity of Toronto), LATAM 100k (ITBA-MIT), IB50k (Instituto Balseiro), Korea-LAC Business Summit (BID), y eAwards (NTT Data Foundation), entre otras.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';\">En reconocimiento a sus contribuciones innovadoras, el Dr. Piccinini fue elegido como Innovator Under 35 por el MIT Technology Review en 2022 (<\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.innovatorsunder35.com\/the-list\/esteban-piccinini\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';\">www.innovatorsunder35.com\/the-list\/esteban-piccinini<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';\">).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';\">Actualmente, el Dr. Piccinini se desempe\u00f1a como Investigador Cient\u00edfico del CONICET en el Laboratorio de Materia Blanda de INIFTA. Sus proyectos de investigaci\u00f3n involucran la s\u00edntesis de pol\u00edmeros electroactivos y materiales 2D semiconductores, la nanoconstrucci\u00f3n de interfaces funcionales con qu\u00edmicas heterofuncionales, y el dise\u00f1o y desarrollo de dispositivos bioelectr\u00f3nicos.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><ul
