In the recent years, the combination of polymer chemistry and supramacromolecular assembly has demonstrated unparalleled versatility to build up functional materials entirely from scratch. For instance, it is now well accepted that the manipulation of the aggregation structure of macromolecular assemblies can be a powerful method to tune the physicochemical properties of supramolecular materials. In this research project our studies are geared towards exploring the structural, physicochemical and functional properties of macromolecular and supramolecular materials as well as designing self-organized polymeric nanostructures with unprecedented functional features.
